Preschool Director

Working with children has been a passion for Elyssa Knight for over a  decade.  After graduating from Maryknoll High School, she taught  special needs children, ran a licensed family childcare business, and  worked as a teacher for the Department of Education in Kaneohe.  Prior  to her work in education, she worked in various administrative jobs and  holds a degree in Public Administration from the University of Hawaii.

Elyssa has an undeniable desire to see children reach their full  potential – spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and socially.  As  the director, her objective is to enable her teachers and staff to not  only provide for each individual child’s needs, but to work as a team to  help the children engage and thrive in a safe, healthy, loving  environment where Christian values are at the core.

Elyssa has lived in Kaneohe much of her life.  She is blessed with  two beautiful children. Her family loves the outdoors – whether it’s the  beach, the park, hiking, or on the soccer field.
