Aides

Preschool Aide Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• CDA or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Clear a local and national criminal background check
• Clear an employment history check
• Current TB certification
• At least 18 years old
• Good interpersonal skills with children and adults
• Strong verbal communication skills

Substitutes

Substitute applicants work on an as needed basis and must meet the following criteria:

• Register with the DHS CANOES Registry and meet all State of Hawaii requirements
• Good interpersonal skills with children and adults
